Two bus drivers have been named Metro Bus Driver of the Month for January 2010 following compliments from passengers on their excellent service. A passenger contacted Metroinfo to say how respectful, patient and helpful Fred Tiatia was with international travellers from a cruise ship during a journey on the Riccarton to Heathcote route.
